We're Luke and Stacey — and our seven kids. We pack fresh seasonal produce from Newcastle's growers, bake sourdough, keep bees, and raise chickens. Real food, made by hand, shared with neighbours.
Every week we head down to Newcastle Farmers Market in Sandgate and gather what's in season from the growers we trust. We pack it into affordable boxes — often within a day or two of being picked — ready for pickup from the homestead.
This is how food was meant to work. Short trip from soil to kitchen. Real farmers. Real prices. Real people.
Alongside the produce, we make and gather a few things ourselves — slowly, in small batches, the way our grandparents did it. Whatever we love eating, we love sharing.
We're building a pickup shed on the property, expanding the orchard and gardens, and opening the homestead up — so people can come along on the journey with us.
We want our kids to grow up knowing what hard work looks like, what community feels like, and what it means to earn something with their own hands. We're trying to pass on the old values — respect, family time, real connection — while walking alongside them through a modern world.
We chased financial security and found that the more we earned, the more we spent. A little creativity, a bit of sacrifice — and we found a comfortable life with hardly any stress.
That's what we want to share. Not a brand. Not a hustle. Just a way of living that's made sense for us — and a few jars of honey and a box of veggies to get you started.
The chooks, the kids, the harvest, the wins and the mess — we share it all. Come be part of the homestead family.
